Harry C. Lin, MBA, CPA
Background

Harry C. Lin started Harry C. Lin, CPA A Professional Corporation in Los Angeles in 1992. Mr. Lin received his Master of Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University.

 

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Lin spent several years at various accounting firms in California and Taiwan which include prominent Los Angeles area firm Gleicher, Tilley & Leonard and one of the Big Eight accounting firms Price Waterhouse in Taiwan. Mr. Lin became Supervisor at Price Waterhouse’s expatriate tax department.

 

Mr. Lin regularly makes guest appearances in local media TV, radio, newspapers and other social media platforms. Mr. Lin regularly makes guest appearances for Chinese-American news media outlets to provide tax and finance insight. Mr. Lin contributes and is featured on ETTV America, Skylink TV, TVBS, CTI Television Inc., LA18, World Journal, Epoch Times, China Press, Sing Tao Daily, Taiwan Daily, Apple Daily, WaCow LA, LA 360, Charming China and Midday Buzz.

 

Mr. Lin also has been well known for his IRS advocacy expertise and international tax planning. Mr. Lin was one of the major shareholders in Grand Foremost, Inc. which supplied the Southern California hospitality industry. Mr. Lin also specializes in hotel and retail rental real estate. Mr. Lin was extremely instrumental in the founding of the Sino-American CPAs Association, which is one of the most active Chinese American civil organizations in Los Angeles and has been named Emeritus Founding Chairman since 1993. Mr. Lin is also a member of the Stakeholder Liaison of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and has attended the quarterly IRS/Practitioner Liaison meetings to bring the most updated IRS regulations to the Chinese American community. Mr. Lin has also served as the Commissioner for the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) and received the most honorable medal an overseas Chinese can obtain from the Republic of China (Taiwan). Mr. Lin is also a guest lecturer at California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Lin became a University of Southern California Ambassador in 2017.

Michael Lin, CPA

Background

Michael Lin works closely with Harry C. Lin to ensure that all of Harry C. Lin, CPA A Professional Corporation professionals understand the business of our clients, in order to help them better identify their business and financial needs.

Mr. Lin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2012. Mr. Lin founded the Delta Sigma Pi – Rho Sigma Chapter at UCSB in 2010 and has helped more than 200 students at UCSB in achieving their careers in business and commerce. Mr. Lin studied abroad at National Taiwan University in 2011 and Peking University in 2012. Mr. Lin is currently working on obtaining his Master of Business Taxation at University of Southern California. Prior to working at Harry C. Lin, CPA A Professional Corporation, Mr. Lin gained experience in a diverse range of industries performing assurance engagements at Moss Adams and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Lin's experience ensures that clients see the results they deserve by working quickly and efficiently. Mr. Lin is also actively involved in the Sino-American CPAs Association and is working closely with the members of the organization to ensure the next generation of Chinese Americans would succeed in their careers.
